Objectives of Tamilnadu Braille Chess Association

• To foster interest of the game of chess in Visually Challenged children from Tamilnadu
• To create awareness about Visually Challenged Chess Players among the public in Tamilnadu
• To conduct chess tournaments at local, state and national levels in an organised manner, consistently
• To train and develop players from Tamilnadu & to help them improve their game by giving braille books and audio-video CDs
• To help talented players in getting subsidies and sponsors by approaching government and other organisations
• To develop the chess knowledge and chess awareness among visually challenged person
• To organize chess camp and chess tournament at various stages
• To fund visually challenged chess players when ever it’s really needed
• To have a proper guidance over visually challenged chess player
